LAS PARÁBOLAS
Una parábola es una ilustración basada en eventos comunes y reales sacados de la naturaleza, o de las circunstancias humanas, siendo su principal objetivo la de enseñar una lección. Jesucristo en varias ocasiones empleó historias conocidas por todos los judíos en forma de parábolas, para enseñarles verdades espirituales acerca del reino de los cielos. El Señor con estas ilustraciones conocidas por el pueblo, trató de poner delante de sus ojos el espejo para que puedan ver y analizar qué clase de oyentes eran, ya que muchos de ellos, pese al haber escuchado las claras enseñanzas de Jesús y sus señales milagrosas, no habían llegado a comprender las profundas verdades acerca del reino de los cielos. Con esta falta de comprensión, algunos habían llegado a seguirle por curiosidad, otros buscando panes y peces, y otros por una motivación política y revolucionaria. Que nuestra motivación para seguir a Jesucristo sea porque hemos comprendido con claridad su mensaje, más no, por otra cosa. Mateo 13:3.
