SOLICITUD CON GENTILEZA
Vivimos en una sociedad en la que las exigencias son más comunes antes que las súplicas o pedidos con gentileza, pues los pedidos con gentileza son vistos como señales de debilidad, y nadie en este mundo quiere verse débil ante los ojos de otras personas. En contraste al carácter incitado por la sociedad, los creyentes tienen que tener un carácter manso y humilde al igual que su Señor y Salvador Jesucristo, por eso cuando necesiten un favor de alguien, tienen que pedirlo con amabilidad y gentileza, sin importar que las de más personas puedan verlos como débiles. Un carácter manso y humilde mostró el apóstol Pablo cuando necesitó un favor de su amigo Filemón. El apóstol le pidió con gentileza en forma de ruego, que acogiera nuevamente en su casa a Onésimo, quien al igual que su amigo había aceptado a Jesucristo gracias a las prédicas del apóstol. Un ruego con gentileza siempre será mejor que una exigencia, y más aún si se está intercediendo por la vida de otro ser humano. Filemón 1:10.
